A late Victorian oak metamorphic chair library steps. Superbly made, this chair easily folds over into a set of carpeted library steps and secures with a brass hook. The chair is in very good condition, showing signs of use consistent with age, the carpet has some wear - see photos.
This chair would look fabulous in a home library or great as a shop display.
