A very large French wicker Champagne grape harvesting basket, circa 1900. The growers mark of GM painted on the sides to identify the vineyard. Handmade in wicker with two handles, the basket stands on wooden runners wired to the sides. There are a couple of small areas of wicker loss in the base of the basket (See interior photo).
