A very unusual pair of ecclesiastical lanterns that came from a Welsh chapel. These lanterns would have been positioned on a pole and used in church ceremonies and processions. Each lantern has four glass sides with one side opening to insert a candle in the holder. They are both topped with a crucifix. They are in lovely vintage condition, white chippy paint on metal with evidence of historic yellow and gold around the edges. One lantern has a small chip in the corner of the glass, see photo.
